vExpert NSX – Congratulations!

This was the subject of the mail I’ve got yesterday.

YAY! Thanks for recognizing, it is a honor for me. It was my second attempt to get it. Now it was successful.

KB57003 – DLR and Edge in NSX 6.3.6 and NSX 6.4.1 running out of space on tmpfs

VMware reports an error where the tmpfs partition on NSX 6.3.6 and NSX 6.4.1 could run out of space. The file /run/vmware/vshield/cmdOut/ha.cid.Out grows up and fills the temporary file system completly.

VCSA 6.7.0c released

This week VMware released the Update c for VCSA 6.7.0.

With this update VMware fixes severall Issues:

  • Upgrade Issues
  • Installation Issues
  • Micellaneous Issues
  • vCenter Server, vSphere Web Client, and vSphere Client Issues

To update your VCSA follow the steps below. The pictures maybe show different version numbers, but I’ve tested it with the listed versions.

  • VCSA 6.7.0b ( Build 8832884)
  • VCSA 6.7.0c ( Build 9232925)

Upgrade NSX 6.4.0 to 6.4.1

Phew! A lot to do the last weeks. Found a little time to upgrade our NSX installation from 6.4.0 to 6.4.1. But there was no time to bring it to the blog :(
Now I can see a small light at the end of the tunnel and could write it down :)

Back in May VMware released the new version of NSX in version 6.4.1. If you plan to upgrade your installation, I’ve written the steps to complete it.
